About the arist

Singer-Songwriter, Musician and Artist

Alyssa Mongiovi is a passionate singer-songwriter whose music blends vulnerability, soul, and grit. She began performing at age three and writing songs soon after, shaped by the sounds of classic artists from the 70s and 80s and as she puts "didn't hear anything good after that..." echoing from a childhood radio. After learning the basics of the guitar and the piano, she began writing and creating from childhood. Often compared to Janis Joplin and Stevie Nicks, she spends her time crafting emotionally charged songs that come alive late at night. Her performances channel raw energy, storytelling, and a deep love for the stage—chasing the same spark she felt the very first time she sang in front of a crowd.

Who or what is your musical inspiration?

"I don't write because I want to. I write because I have to. If I didn't, it would never let me sleep. I have been writing music after obsessing over artists like Michael Jackson, Dolly Parton, Billy Joel, and The Beatles. They wrote about the human experience in a way that brought you into their shoes. I really believe that we need music as a society. Our stories should be told."
